Oh Summer TV you can be so good and you can be so bad. Or you can be so terrible that I love it.
I used to dread Summer TV cause it meant reruns aside from the early days of 90210 where they released new episodes in the Summer. Now with Netflix and Cable Networks I don’t really dread Summer TV.
My Summer TV Favorites are quite varied but all fantastic in their own way.
In 9 days…..9 DAYS! OITNB comes back! HALLELUJAH! Who else binge watched the entire first sesason in one weekend? Just us? Nah I bet a lot of you did. Who is your favorite character? Mine is Tastee also I love Crazy Eyes(Suzanne) and just crumbled in a pile of tears when she asked why they call her crazy eyes.
Newsroom. Oh god I love Newsroom. I am all kinds of bummed that it’s the last season coming up but the first season was SOOOO much better than the second and I really hope they go back to the first season format. Let’s go back to cover real news stories not fake ones…mmmk?
The Bachelorette: I hate myself for getting sucked in again. Darn likable girl on the show!
Under the Dome: This is one of our favorites and another show we binge watched. I loved the first season and how weird it was. I also loved seeing so many of my favorite actors from other shows on this show. I love the premise and I love the Lost vibe of odd.
24: So 24 used to be my favorite show on TV way back in my college days and now that this season is a few episodes in I can say that I am loving the revamp! I would love to see this be more than one season(fingers crossed) and I love that they got so many of the show favorites back. I just love me some Jack!
I am sure there will be several stupid reality shows I get sucked into this summer. I am already eyeing marriage boot camp! We shall see as the months linger on 🙂
What are your Summer TV Favorites?
I can’t wait for OITNB!!! I loooooooooooooove that show so much!
I love OITNB and my new favorite obsession is Playing House – hilarious!
I’ve heard such good things about the Newsroom but haven’t started it yet– I’m still slowly working my way through Breaking Bad! So excited about Orange though! Suzanne became one of my favorite characters as well- and UGH that scene was so sad!
Under The Dome is my favorite. I’m so excited for it to return!
I’m a sucker for BB. Once even considered applying.
I love this about you, Patti!
I cannot wait for Orange is the New Black!!! Can’t wait.. Can’t wait… Can’t wait…
I’m also excited for OITNB and while I am a faithful Bachelor/Bachelorette watcher I find myself tuning out this season already. I really want to like Andy buuuuuut….idk I’d say maybe I’m finally growin up a bit but we all know that isn’t true lol
I just got super excited because I realized that OITNB comes back in 9 days!!!!!!
I LOVE Under the Dome and last year when it ended I was so upset. I thought I missed the final episode not knowing a new season would be here. Can’t wait and it starts on my BD. YEA!!
I live in Italy Italy so I have to watch all the shows on my computer – which means i can secretly indulge in the bachelorette!!!(well at least without my husband knowing I’m watching it while he reads like smart poetry or something…)
I haven’t heard of Under the Dome. I may need to check that out.
I actually haven’t seen any of these shows! I did watch the first episode of The Night Shift last night and it seems like it is going to be good!!
I’m apparently behind on the times – I still haven’t seen OITNB – guess I’m missing out!
OITNB…. I’m so excited. 🙂 I binge watched it last year while hungover and it made for an awesome weekend!
My husband watches Under the Dome, but I could just never get into it. I thought the actors weren’t all that good so I stopped watching.
Loved 24. I need to catch up with the new season. My husband has watched them all and saved them for me. I really need to catch up.
Your not a Pretty Little Liars fan?! That’s what I’m MOST excited for! And Rookie Blue! 🙂
I watched Rookie Blue last summer–really enjoyed it!
I heart OITNB!!!! I love Jason Biggs and Red!!!! I will binge watch in one weekend fo sho!
My roommates boyfriend in college used to watch 24 all the time. Personally, I never really gave it a chance to even get into- but there were/are some hardcore 24 fans out there. I’ve been meaning to watch OITNB for what seems like forever but probably just midway/ending of season one. Guess I should probably carve some time out to hop on the Netflix and get to some binge watching, lol. Happy summer TV viewing to you.
Counting down until the OITNB premiere!!
OMG I cannot wait until OITNB! And yes I totally binged watched the first season in one week. It was what helped me get through finals! lol
Awesome! I ever forget to see this such a amazing
